Hi Zoe,

You should have Sage 50 Report Designer, I would think you can do invoice templates with this one. Never used it myself but it comes with Sage, it installs to the same folder as Sage 50 does, at least it did on my PC.

You would need to create a new template. But you can cheat a little and edit an existing one and then save as a new template.

If you go into the report section where you would normally print the invoice, there should be an edit button. This will open up the report designer and then in there under"file" you can re save as a new template.

in the report designer you can change all sorts of things and select to add or remove additional fields etc...as well as put company logo's and stuff.

I could probably knock something together for you for about £20-£30 per template if you give me an idea of the sort of thing you want or an idea of which template you want it based on.

you may have to create a dummy invoice first otherwise if no invoice's there you are unable to see the templates. You must also make sure you save in the correct directly.
I have a range of templates if helpful to you - can email to view for ideas or I will send template through for a fee.

Hi there,

If you have Sage support, it's best to ask them, if you start adjusting reports yourself, then I'm pretty sure Sage wouldn't allow it.
Creating your own invoice especially if you are using your own logo, can be quite difficult if you are not sure.

Luther.

You can amend the existing templates. If you have experience of reports in Access you will find report designer in Sage very similar. It is easier to amend an existing template than to create a new one from scratch.

Always edit from an existing template. If you have a brand new sage you will not be able to see the templates in the invoice section so create a dummy invoice. Highlight the invoice and go to print. It is worth previewing a few of the templates however A4 without discount is the usual. At bottom is "edit" button. On newer versions of sage you are unable to save over an original template so you will need to "save as". You need to ensure you save to correct path especially if have more than 1 company or version of sage on your computer.
Good luck
