Hi - In Excel I am trying to make a cell show a number (0.603) if another cell has a value greater than £0.01. I have been messing about with IF but can't get it to work! Can anyone help me please? Thanks in advance.
this assumes A1 is the cell with the value > 0.01 and b1 has 0.603 in it. You don't actually say where the 0.603 comes from, if it's a calculation you can substitute the "+b1" for the formula.
Maybe you could post a little more info on how you arrive at 0.01 & 0.603

Responses are intended as outline only. Formal advice should be sort from your Institutes Technical Department or a suitably qualified Accountant.
The 0.01 comes from a Column detailing Basic Pay and is meant to be any figure bigger than £0.01, or I suppose you could say 'is not 0.00'. It will be entered manually.
If the person has earned any basic money in that week, then they will get 0.603 days Holiday Days added to their holiday entitlement. So I want Excel to pop 0.603 in column C if Column A has anything in it bigger than £0.01.
