Lost receipts

Hiya folks, advice needed again if possible.

I have just been going through all my papers and cant seem to find some receipts to tie up with my bank statements.... things like petrol, stationery and the like. Can I still claim for these as they clearly show on the bank statement staples etc or do I need to find the physical receipt ?

Thanks in advance.

I would, especially if it was a debit card payment and clearly showed on the bank statement who the supplier was.

Thank you, it clearly states if its a petrol station or staples (stationery) I just didnt want to get in trouble with the Revenue.

There's no guarantee it would be allowed btw, but imho there's enough evidence there to argue the case.
