We are about 7 months into a business and have been keeping basic book-keeping on a spreadsheet etc. However I am realising this isn't reallly sufficient.
I'm looking for suggestions for easy book keeping software. I'm not a book-keeper but have some vague memory when sudying for my law degree so hopefully I can figure it out!
Sage seems to be popular, but I'm not sure how easy this is to learn. I've looked at an online programme called Solar Accounts. You can download for a 60 day trial period. Has anyone used this? It seems fairly straight forward
FYI the business is construction, so we submit CIS payments to HMRC and on the verge of going VAT registered.
Hi. I use it for my own accounts and really like it. I haven't used it for CIS payments, though it is geared up to do so. I was going to use it for a florist, but realised that till takings weren't necessarily going to be straight forward due to cash & card payments.
