Hi Guys

Just looking at the syllabus for Level 1. A question to ask, under the criteria for trial balances it says explain the action to be taken in the case of non-agreement, does this mean correcting the error via the journal.  Many thanks.

Hi Sally-Anne

They would be looking for ways to identify the error as well as the corrective action. eg looking for a value that matches, or a misposting, or ommision which doubles the opposite entry etc.

Then the actions needed to correct the error eg the journal entry
