i have a question regarding fixtures and fittings. what to include and what not to include in fixtures and fittings?

Hi Student

Will depend on what the item is and the value as to whether you include it in the balance sheet or write off to the p&l.

Fixtures and Fittings tend to be things like tables, chairs, pictures etc.

Also depends on the cost involved - ie would not capitalise say a computer chair at £40 but would capitalise 20 of them.
