Hi everyone I have just joined this brilliant forum-I wish I had heard of it before. I have recently become self employed as bookkeeper, trainer and I aslo complete year end accounts for community organisations. I teach Sage and manual bookkeeeping and live in Sheffield.
Welcome to the forum, like me you must find the forum friendly and helpful. I have recommended it to a few people I have met whilst completing my AAT, the more people with varied experience and views the better, I think!
How are you finding looking for new clients in Sheffield?
Hi Susan, welcome to the forum, good to have another on board and as Tony says, the more variety of experience and opinions the better... Careful you don't end up like us lifers on here though as we tend to have the site open all of the time regardless as to what else we are doing (Yes Bill, you know who else I'm talking about there!!!!)
Morning Tony, I notice that the ICB forum is also called the bookkeepers forum! Hope that all of the people that you are directing here find the right site.
All the best,
Shaun.

Hi everyone thanks for making me feel so welcome! Tony, well some of my customers did follow me from a previous job and the others are mostly word of mouth. I am hoping to do more training than actual bookkeeping but I will take whatever job is offered!!
