Quickbooks Pro US or UK
Permalink Closed

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there is a way of telling if the software for quickbooks is the UK or US version without installing it? E.g. a specific product number or barcode etc (a bit specific I know, sorry)

I have seen a copy of Quickbooks Pro 2010 on ebay and the cover says it is accredited by ICAEW. When asking the seller for confirmation it was UK he said he couldn't tell as it was sealed.

He said that there was freephone 0808 number on the back and also mentions quickbooks.co.uk for support, so would I be right in assuming that this was the UK version. I've noticed a lot selling that are US version.

Hi there,

If it has a 0808 number on the back and mentions quickbooks.co.uk for support I would say that it is pretty safe to assume it is the UK version. I use Quickbooks Pro at one of my client's and I don't know of any particular product number or bar code that tells whether it is UK or US.

If the number is 0808 168 9535, then that is the contact number for Intuit UK.
