SAGE 50 - Producing previous years financial statements
Permalink Closed

Hi all,

Please can anyone shed any light on this subject for me. I have been given a sage backup file by a previous accountant, which I have restored successfully onto my Client Manager 50 software.

I now want to produce financial statements for the last three years, I've tried the 'financial reports' and then by 'transaction' for both TB and P&L, but all I get is the balance sheet accounts and no expense accounts. I've tried changing the program date also.

Anyone know how to get these reports off the software ?

Many thanks

Lisa

Hi Lisa

I have the same software and have just gone into one of my clients files and run a transactional p&l for the whole of 2008 and I got a full & complete report, so am a bit confused as to why you are unable to get the same results.

Has the data copied correctly or has it been archived

Regards

Mark

Hi Mark,

I'm beginning to wonder that, the previous was done on Instant V15, so I'm wondering is somewhere down the line it hasn't restored correctly. As I have just done exactly the same for one of my regular clients and it works !!

I don't have a copy of Instant, do you know if you can run the reports I need from it ?

Thanks for your help !

Best wishes

Lisa

Hi Lisa

It has been quite a while since I used Instant so I don't know.
