in this months ACCA student accountant there was a nice little article about improving your memory.
Don't know about everyone else reading this but I for one quite often have problems with the indexing system in my old grey matter. I know that the information is all in there but for the life of me sometimes it really wants to stay hidden.
Anyway, not tried any of them yet but the sites recommended for memory improvement were :
www.bbc.co.uk/ radio4/memory/ improve/
www.memorise.org
www.memory-improvement-tips. com/brain-games.html
www.mindtools.com/ memory.html
Have fun and remember, with the memory it's a matter of use it or lose it!
Have a good weekend,
Shaun.

Hi Shaun, Sorry, what did you say again?....I forgot! lol Seriously though, I'll definitely have a look at these, as you say use it or lose it. The brain is a muscle and if you don't use it...and some of my muscles are definitely going home! My short term memory is terrible at the mo...I find I'm having to write everything down (probably a good idea anyway). Wondered what I was going to do this weekend....now I have something to play with Pauline
First link doesn't work

Sorry about that. Guess I've got to do a basic typeing course as well as one in improving my... Now how was I going to finish that sentence....
Have fun this weekend.
All the best,
Shaun.

....Ahh when typeing them in I've gone and put spaces. Here are the links cut and pasted. .....
Just out of curiosity
When I post a link, I copy from the url address bar at the top. When I paste it into the editor, and submit the post, it appears as a working hyperlink, when I view it. I have noticed that some other posters have working links, and others do not.
For example the link I pasted below, to the HMRC home page
I'll have a play around and sort out why mine never ever come out as hyperlinks.
Talk in a bit,
Shaun.

Seems to be because I always use the basic rather than the advanced editor... Doh.
Of course, I will have forgotten this by the time that I do my next post.

I'm using my brain a LOT more than I used to and my memory's still rubbish! I think it's because my brain is so full it keeps overflowing and the older stuff drops out.....
