Morning all,

normally after I have read a post on this site it goes from highlighted bold to normal text to show that I have read it.

This morning that's stopped working for me and after reading posts they remain as highlighted bold.

I've tried via both Firefox and Explorer and get the same with both. Also tried restarting the machine as that normally fixes any glitches but still getting the same.

Is anyone else having the same problems or is this just my machine?

Cheers Attila,

Just looked at downloading Firefox 4 but had a message come up saying that it would stop both McAfee Site advisor and Norton Safe Web from working. I've got both (and spybot) on my machines as I really try to keep them safe but always aware that even with a firewall, and three different anti spyware barriers something malicous can always sneak through.

Actually, I had one the other evening that flashed up saying that spyware had been detected and press this popup that I didn't recognise in order to fix it.

The reality was that there was nothing amiss with my machine and if I had pressed ok in the popup box it would have ok'd a download of who knows what software.

In the above instance I had pressed a link that didn't have Nortons little green ok button or the Norton secured tick next to it. When I got the highlighting problem this morning my first thought was. Oh heck, something did actually get changed when I had that pop up!

Anyway, thanks for checking that for me Attila. My minds at rest again... Or at least as at rest as it can be when trying to get back to grips with group accounts!

Talk later,

Shaun.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the heads up regarding the highlighting problem!

It seems that a new software update to the forum has caused an issue where new posts stopped being tracked properly for some users. We're in theprocess of getting a fix live for that.

Will let you know once this is sorted.

Cheers,

Morning Steve, Ross, Stuart,

the problem with read posts not losing their highlighting seems to have returned to the site.

Wonder if you could take a look at it again please,

many thanks in advance,

Shaun.

Hi Shaun

My problem is that the "unread" symbol is working OK (Orange when unread, clear after viewing post) but all the link lines are in bold

Bill

Morning Shaun and Bill.

I'll speak to our provider regarding this. I know thery're currently completing some pretty major software upgrades behind the scenes, so this may be the cause.

Will get back to you with an answer.

Kind regards,

Steve

 Hi Shaun

I've just upgraded my Firefox and had the same sort of message, but I did it anyway and my Norton Safe Web is still working.

Hi all

Pleased to report that the highlighting should now be working correctly across all browsers (Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari).

If anyone experiences any further problems please let me know and I'll investigate some more.

Kind regards,

Steve
