IAB Exam results Jan 2011
Permalink Closed

Hi

Has anyone else received any results yet for the Jan 2011 sitting?  The IAB website states the results will be sent on the 01st April, no later than 10 weeks from the sitting.  I took my Level 3 on the 25th & the 10 weeks were up yesterday.  Still no results in the post today.

I am getting impatient hmm

Hello there!

I also sat my IAB exam in January for Level 2 and haven't had my results yet either. I am so impatient it's unreal so it is driving me mad!!

10 weeks from when I sat it would have been yesterday, so I have my fingers crossed for this week somtime.

How can it take 10 weeks to mark anyway?! Madness...

Thanks for that

I was beginning to think that my results were so bad that they just couldn't break the bad news to me.

Lets hope we both get good news soon.smile

Still no news!! I have to admit the IAB seem to be really useless at communicating...

I understand the IAB has been in touch with your tutors about the delays and the results & certificates should be going out within the next 24 hours.

In that case, I take it back and blame my tutor for not getting in touch!

Here's hoping I find out before the end of the week then :)

I had to wait for longer than expected for my IAB L3 but it wasn't the fault of IAB. I did a course and took the exam at a training centre and the results therefore, went to the centre. It was the centre's passing them on that took the time.

Congratulations!

Now you have passed your Level 2 exams, are you going join and become a Associate member of the IAB?

I'm not sure, they did include a Membership Application in the envelope with my certificate but I haven't had a chance to look into it properly yet.

Is it worth doing? I know it entitles you to add letters after your name - are there other advantages of becoming a member?

Yes there are benefits for joining, and as time goes on - they are increasing.

This is the web site link: http://www.iab.org.uk/mems_benefits.asp

(Sorry you'll have to cut and paste)

- the members only area of the IAB site has stuff added to it all the time.

Finally got my results this morning for my Level 3 & I passed. I got a B as well which considering how bad I thought the 2nd paper had gone I am pretty amazed.

Now they have changed the exam format... not too sure where I am next heading.
