Getting started on HMRC online as an agent
Permalink Closed

Currently I'm working as a bookkeeper for a firm of accountants, and the firm are registered as an agent on HMRC so VAT returns, CIS returns etc can be done online.

I'm planning on starting up as self employed soon, how does one get to be registered with HMRC as an agent so these little chores can be done?

yes, as above when you register make a note of the reference as I never received it, then I got something in the post about a week later to activate it on line.
