Can you start entering for a new year before doing a Year End? (A little while since I've done this....!)

Hi Jenny,

Yes you can start entering stuff for the new year before you have run the year end in Sage, no problem.

The only thing is you will probably get the annoying message pop up every time saying that the date is outside the financial year, just ok it and carry on.  I think in the latest versions of Sage there is the option to turn this message off. (Possibly after v16)?

Hi

Yes you can but like Pauline says on the older versions you can't turn the annoying message off!

I have SAGE instants V12 and can't turn off the message.

cheers
