Hi Shaun

I ordered the 2002 Acca books you recommended from Amazon market traders, 1.1 came today second hand but in excellent condition for a fiver, the other two will be coming some time this week, been looking at 1.1 this afternoon, I must agree with you this is an excellent book, am well chuffed. Could be my goal to do ACCA qualification in the near future lol.  Sue.

Glad you like it Susan.

They really don't make text books like that one anymore so excellent news that your copy was in good condition. (hate it when they arrive earmarked and full of highlighting).

If you do come over to the dark side then looks as though the Birmingham venue for sitting ACCA papers is probably the closest to you so might see you at New Bingley hall sometime.

All the best,

Shaun.

Hi Shaun know what what you mean about books earmarked and full of highlighting, but the one I received no highlighting in sight and good clean condition ( can not stand books with coffee stains either).  Have you done or doing the Acca qualification and if so what level are you doing?. Sue.

Hi Susan,

I'm at finals stage. Sitting P2 this June. Unfortunately it's ridiculously difficult at this level so not at all hopeful of a pass anytime soon. Suspect that I may still be doing resits by the time you get to P2!

Got all of the experience requirements for membership but not in a position at the moment to get the post qualification experience neccessary for a practicing certificate.

Slightly off topic - I used to sell my books (post exam passes) on ebay. One time I got £16 for my course classroom annotated notes - definitely a result!

It was an even bigger bonus as my employer paid for my courses and the books came with it. The advantages of training with a practice

Hi Phil,

never know, I might own some of them!

I bought a few of the BPP course in a binder sets of Ebay for papers 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5.

Only text that I've ever sold was for paper P6 as figure what's the point keeping tax texts. Think maybe I should have sold one or two of the others but most of the papers are pretty timeless and have got a home for life.
