Oops, I'm going to be able to do that tomorrow so I'll probably end up being removed from Kay's Christmas card list if I don't review it!

Lets have a review of this tomorrow if I'm able to change the initial post.

In the interim though Kay, the odds of anyone finding that post that you don't want to are pretty remote. Half the time I can't find posts when I know that they exist on here. Whats the odds of someone finding it that doesn't.

Hi Noola,

I've read through the thread in question and whilst I can see your issue it would be against the spirit of the site to have the thread removed.

However, I appreciate your situation in that you do not wish to be identified by your employers as having discussed a matter that may be traced back to you.

As such I have made some very subtle changes to the title and the body of your post replacing reference to the specific asset in question which could be the only way of tracing the thread back to yourself.

I hope that this suffices to allay your concerns about identification by your employers.

To anyone else reading this, this was quite a specific situation relating to someones very first post and I will not be making changes to any post as a matter of course, not least as such carries a site documentation overhead with it.

Therefore, be careful what you write as unless it breaks the site rules it's going to be here forever.... And that goes for me as well. I've written some darn stupid things in the past (still embarrassed at one piece of advice that I gave and forgot to mention AIA) but I will not be changing my own mistakes so I won't be changing anyone elses either.

kind regards,

Shaun.
