Free software?
Permalink Closed

I'm treasurer for my kids school PTA and have transferred from a manual ledger from my predecessor. I'm struggling a bit with TAS Basics, especially since changing to Windows 7 and everything appears in $. Their support team are blaming Windows! Lame.

Can anyone recommend a good alternative? SaaS would be great but they only seem to be free for a short trial.

Thanks

Amanda

If they are blaming Windows - maybe a look in Control Panel > Regional and Language Options and see if the problem is in there. Just a suggestion - do they still have these folders in Windows 7? I'm stuck back in the days of XP.

Ah, that's what they said too but the regions are all set to UK & English. Yes it is still in 7 :)

I even tried changing it to another region, rebooting, changing it back, botting up again etc etc. V tedious. Their best suggestion is to edit the registry. ouch, no thanks

VT Cash is still free. You have to download it with VT transaction+ - Just ignore the VT Transaction+ and use VT Cash.
