Further training in Sage
Permalink Closed

Morning,

I am working with Sage 50, but I am aware that there are things I do not know how to do. Like how to refund a customer if they over pay. Or to sort out the account if we have overpaid a supplier? Does anyone know of a course that I could take to fill in the gaps so to speak.confuse

Kind regards,

Shirley

You might agree that a course, as such, could be somewhat an overkill for this sort of query.

First, if you go Help|Search|refund (for example) in Sage, you'll see the procedures all listed.

If you find that the Help pages don't read easily, then there are several inexpensive "how to" books for Sage Accounts - a quick trundle thorugh www.bookbrain.co.uk will show up several. For the record, I bought Sage 50 Accounts for Dummies and find it very readable and helpful.

Courses can be mega-expensive, though. Good luck smile

Thanks Andy, I agree courses can be abit of an overkill, as I know the basics. It's the little gaps I would like to fill. I will have a look for the Sage for Dummies.

Thank you once again.

Kind regards,

Shirley

You're very welcome. I might also say that looking out for Readers' Reviews has often stopped me buying the wrong book. (Self-evident, I know, but ... wink )
