Exuse the pun, I wait a while for them to come along, (except regulars), then I get a influx of clients all at once, then I can't refuse any as i know that it could potentially go quiet again, so I have been flat out for the last 2 months ish, and had the highest sales figure so far since I started the business.
Very happy, but am praying for a steady business so I can hand in my notice at work soon!. Does anyone else have the same experience. It is good now to have a quiet weekend though, swings and round-a-bouts.
Hi there, I have regular clients that I work for either each month (only about 8 or so) or each quarter, so I can almost predict what my montlhy sales figures are, so I presume you are doing more one off accounts/tax returns than regular clients, so maybe more regular clients is the way to go, it would be interesting to hear about other peoples experience of work clients.
I have alot of one offs, then hopefully next year they return. I guess I am at the stage where I am trying to build my regular client base, and that will be one-off's until they return next year. Thank god I have my full-time job. Also I can't really turn away the yearly clients as then I would hardly have any work at all. Catch 22. I see what you are saying more reg. clients, but then I feel the need to take it all on.
