I've been reading the forum for the past month or so, and found it very helpful. Our small arts organisation is currently moving from Excel double accounting to software (at my behest), and the info here has been great at pointing me in the right direction.
My experience is in QB, but we're now on Macs, so we're looking into QB Online as an option. I was just signing up for the free trial, when it asked me if I had a Referral Code?
Have done a quick search of the forums and the wider web, with no joy. Is there a lovely discount out there evading me, or should I plunge on ahead?
I supect that the referal code is a standard option for QB resellers to give to prospective customers, to entice a purchase. To take advantage of it you would need to find a supplier offering the promotion.
I have used a promo code myself when buying some books online. In that case it was on the AW forum offering Kaplan books at discount but I had to go to the Kaplan site to make the purchase (that way they get my details)
Hi...The referralcode field is not usually used when setting up a QuickBooks Online company. However, it is listed there because sometimes sometimes we do have special offers that require a referral code. We advertise special offers in various ways, which would include online, email and television.
