Twitter - who to follow? (bookkeeping related)
Permalink Closed

Just set up my 'personal' Twitter account today (have had others in the past, so its not my first, though.)

Want to follow bookkeeping related stuff. I am following the Inst. of Cert Bookkeepers, but has anyone got any suggestions about who else bookkeeping related to follow?  confuse

Hi Ray,

Hope he doesn't mind me saying so - but Nick's an active tweeter and is worth a follow. Elaine (Cheap Accounting) who posts occasionally, is also very good.

Naturally, no offence meant to anyone else I may follow.

I try and tweet useful Sage stuff, especially when new versions come out or if I have come accross one of the many 'known problems' in my support activities.

My business account is @SiliconBullet - which I trying to use more for work related stuff. My personal account is @weebly_one which has a mix of business and personal when I forget to switch the account I am tweeting from!

I also recommend Elain @cheapaccounting and @amyaccountant is good too - both do blogs well worth subscribing too.

Thanks for these suggestions............

Tony - I'm not sure who Nick is?

Now following

@SiliconBullet

@weebly_one

@cheapaccounting

@amyaccountant

No need to follow back, as I don't think I will be using this account for tweeting bookkeeping/ accounting stuff.

Any other bookkeeping related tweeters out there?

Thanks Vicky and Tony for the kind comments. I've actually just drafted a blog about how I use Twitter, was hoping to get it up before I go on holiday (Sunday), but was out all day yesterday, will see how the next day or so goes.

I've now joined Twitter, thought it was about time! I can see it being easily addictive!
