This is due for release this week, and I just sat the dealers new features course this morning. I tweeted details of the most useful new features to my @siliconbullet account, and am about to do a summary on the company facebook page too if anyone is interested.
The features I thought would be most useful was the ability to lock data entry prior to a date within the current year - great for those jobs where you want to prevent entries after a month has been closed off and reported on.
Also if you have a multi user system where crashes happen and you have to edit the queue.dta to release locked users, you know longer need to as the manager log in can remove the users from the list - this will really help one of my clients.
They have improved the speed of searches - and when one user is producing a report it should no longer lock everyone else out as it could in the past - with the waiting to open message.
I to went on this course the other week, I am looking forward to receiving it, they send they are sending it out this week. I think the mobile app will be good.
I did get a bit confused with opening in an older version as I understood it you will have to work in the older version. Only advantage of that is not having more than this version on the pc.
