I have decided it's time to introduce myself... hello!
A brief background... I started my business 4 years ago after being made redundant from a much loved job. Although going into business was always a foresight, the redundancy came as a shock and pushed me to taking the plunge sooner than expected and unprepared.
Through a bit of research (through customers of my previous job) I got my first two clients in 2008, from there the client base has grown. It hasnt been easy of course!!
I have viewed various posts on here and would like to say thank you to you all, it has been a big help.
Hope that moving forwards we get to hear much more about the sucess of you and your business.

P.S. was it a related industry that you were made redundant from or was bookkeeping/accountancy a fresh start?

I was the office and account manager for the previous company. Kind of a fresh start as my role was not completely one or the other, this is where i used my experience and knowledge to offer my services. Now I am gaining the necessary qualifications to back up what I am doing.. through AAT!
