Hello everyone. Been dipping in and out the forum for several months now but never got round to saying hi.

I qualified in AAT Level 2 bookkeeping last October and the took a SAGE distance learning course.

The forum has been a god send as I always knew that books and study is quite different to the reality. The support I have received has been fantatsic and I have recently been offered a job with a bookkeeping company.

One question regarding the forum, is there an easy way to "pull up" your posts? I have just gone back into recent posts and looked through until I find my posts

Thanks

Jane

Hi Jane,

belated welcome to the forum

I use google to find old posts. If you can remember roughly what the thread was about then you can restrict it to just look at this site by using the following (using holiday pay as an example search) :

site:book-keepers.org.uk holiday pay

I find that if you just use bookkeepers forum in your search you end up accidentally bringing up the ICB website which is good for their site hit record but not where many people are actually trying to find!

Just ensure that you use the above in your search and you won't accidentally find yourself including posts from the wrong site in your search.

Congratulations on the job offer. Always great to have some good news on the site.

all the best,

Shaun.

hi Jane and welcome. Have you tried clicking on your name and then members posts? I found one of mine that way this morning.

best regards,
Tim
