Thanks John, although I will admit most of the students so far who have enquired and enrolled seem to be CIMA members. But then IAB membership has never been a requirement to take any IAB qualification.

Thanks for the course information, it seems like an interesting option.

How does the IAB qualification compare with the ATT tax qualification, and are they the same level (4)?

Thanks.

Ben

I have no idea, the ATT qualification is not at a particular level, but geared to allow people to become a ATT member

I thought the IAB cancelled this course at the end of 2010. They dont have it on their site any more.

Dave, no, you'll find it still on their site - although the information is out of date. They'll get round to updating it eventually, but I think its a low priority for them.

The IAB has a lot going on at the moment, with the apprenticeships taking off etc. and lots of new colleges applying for accreditation.

Thanks Jenny, and Shaun, I had a lot more hoops to jump through than I expected to gain the accreditation, so it took longer. But thats what happens when you have to be accredited by a OFQUAL awarding body! I'm afraid I'm not going to have much time to visit this site as often now, as I'm rather snowed under with work etc.
