Having just phoned Kaplan Manchester to book an exam for AAT's Costs and Revenues i have been told that the exams are now £51 as of September 1st. I have paid £33 for my previous exams. Is anyone here studying with Kaplan and had the same information? I have an email somewhere saying that the AAT have put the fee up by £3 so was expecting to pay £36, the other £15 sounds like Kaplan have charged me an admin fee which i don't have to pay as i am one of their students. (they tried charging me a £15 admin fee when i booked my first exam but are saying that this is the new price without admin fees). Can i afford to go onto level 4? Think i'll be weighing up other costs from different course providers next year.
Looks as though you are right and the extra is an admin fee by Kaplan incorporated in the price of the exam.
all the best,
Shaun.

Hi Shaun, I've contacted Kaplan again and £51 is the price i'm stuck with now. I'm looking at going with Premier for the next level and using Kaplan or BPP Manchester for exams as an external student. It seems the savings will be quite significant. Kaplan discounted the admin fee before as i was a Kaplan student but if i'm not going to get any benefits from them i may as well shop around. I'm not a tight arse lol but 33 to 51 is a big jump, the explanation as to why i have now got to pay an admin fee? Kaplan insist it is because AAT have increased prices (by £3?). Cheers for the link.
