P38S STUDENT FORM - does its info go on the P35?
Permalink Closed

Would I be correct in saying that wages correctly paid (ie they meet all the respective mandatory requirements)  under Student P38S do not appear on the P35 annual return. or P14s etc assuming that they are always under the relevant pay and nat. insurance thresholds.

I'm pretty sure this is so but it's a while since I did a payroll with students and I just seek confirmation for my faded memory as I want to have a bash at the online PAYE site at the year end 2012!.  Once upon a time you could ring a nice person on a non 0845 number without inviting the Spanish Inquisition or refer to a nice booklet about this but those days are sadly gorn.  I hate flicking thru the HMRC site so this is laziness on my part here I'm afraid and I know some payroll genius out there will help!!
