Very cryptic - can you expand on your question?

(Do you mean you've uploaded bank transactions?)
Have you checked the date ranges for the activity screen?
Also, try looking in "Financials" to see if the transactions are listed there, and if so, check that the correct codes, dates etc... are there?

I'm no Sage guru but have you got your periods set up correctly? Sounds as though your data and current period might be out of line... I assume that it brings up the company but your transactions are not showing?

Like Sheila says the message lacks any real detail. Give us a bit more meat and I'm sure that someone will be able to point you in the right direction.

Generally I tend to avoid any Sage related questions as there's people on here (like Sheila) far better at it than me. But, as there were only two unread messages in this evenings recent posts list I hope that my guess from the limited scope of the question helps a little.

kind regards,

Shaun.

try looking at the financials and making sure all transactions are showing - sometimes if someone has completed a search it may not be shown.

I have sometimes have similar issues when restoring a clients backup to my sage! its says it has resorted successfully and shows no or not all of the translations. I usually just re-run the restore processes and it all works fine.

sorry I was dashing out last night and the client wants it done asap so I went there this morning but have not finished.

I restored the latest back up and the problem is its not letting me view the activity, there is nothing there. If I go into bank and activity there is nothing there, I go to custom and the transaction numbers it has is fixed at 1-26 but there is over 3000 transactions. If I try to change the 26 to say 999  it says transaction number is greater than the number of tranactions. I can't get a nominal activity report either. Just checked in maintenance and not all the transactions are there only up to Oct 2010.

Any suggestions

Thanks

Thanks for the responses. The client and I are using exactly the same version of Sage, the latest. I have now managed to restore the data on my version ONLY being doing it via memory stick!! Had problems before with email backups.

Does anyone know why this is the case, it doesn't always happen. At least I will now be busy this weekend!!

It could be that possibly email backups are too large for the receiving or sending email program whereas your memory stick it has sufficient memory to take the backup. Only a guess.
