HMRC - online authorisations - is this the best way?
Permalink Closed

Been having a bit of bother acting as an agent for two clients - the only ones I have.

They don't show up in my client list. They are there when I log-in to the PAYE Desktop Viewer so I know they have been authorised. These clients were authorised using the paper forms, then a code would be sent out to them and I'd then input this code into the HMRC page. I phoned HMRC on Tuesday but still can't see them on the list. It doesn't really matter for those two clients as I just got their own log-in details and used that instead.

I'd rather log-in using my own details though - so would it be better for me just to not bother with the paper form and use the online request page instead?

Hi Peasie I am not sure why they have not appeared after using the paper form, I think my first clients did, eventually However, it is much easier to do it all on line, then you can just get on and deal with the work through your own login Hope youy get it all sorted Regards Mark
