Balance Sheet showing zero Bank balance! Help!
Permalink Closed

Hi, I've run a Balance Sheet for September and the Bank Balance is showing as zero.  And the debtors are showing as a figure owed which is totally incorrect.

Any help please??!

We did do our Year End 31st July 2011 and I've rolled the Year forward on Sage and am still waiting for the new year opening balances from the Accountants.  I need to send this BS to the Director tonight but he's bound to ask these questions that I cannot answer ...... ??

I've just checked August which was the first month of our new financial year and that appears to be all ok with a bank balance etc.

Debbie

Oh, that was showing zero as well for the period, i.e. August 2010 to July 2011 ??

Although Year to date on that Year End balance sheet is showing a balance of £68K?

Then under 'Liabilities' for Year End, the Bank is showing a small balance of £1.8K.

I didn't spot that when I submitted accounts, is there any obvious reason for it?  So pleased somebody has replied!
