Sage IA Log on - then nothing!

Not used for a week, logged on as usual yesterday - and the desktop went back to my homescreen (ie Instant Accounts didn't open). It was if I hadn't logged on. I run this on two computers (restoring from one to the other)and luckily the office pc stills opens and works normally, so I can access my accounts from the old faithful, fortunately. Antivirus etc is scheduled regularly and run again last night.  Defragged.  Switched laptop off and on!  No joy. Any ideas, please?
