What is the most tax efficient way to take a company car?

 

Are you better off buying it outright? hire purchase? lease agreement? or any other way...?

Depends on a number of variables.

For one thing what type of car would you be getting? If a new car emits less than 100g of CO2 per KM then it will be subject to the 100% annual investment allowance.

Then you need to ask the question of whether the employee will be forced to make recompense for the private use of the car and fuel.

Without a lot more detail, no definitive answer can be given!
