Partnership return on line
Permalink Closed

Hi all

Hope you can help, one of my clients is a little late with sorting out self assessment return.  They have to submit a partnership return which can't be down on line through the HMRC site - can anyone advise best/cheapest software to use.

Thanks

J

Try andica. They do a partnership return software for a single return for just £15. I'm just about to buy it myself. I use thier self assessment software.

Thanks for that I will check it out.

I'm registered as a agent for self assessment for both partners, do I also need to be registered as an agent  for the partnership as well?

To be honest, I have no idea, I'm feeling about in the dark with this one myself. Maybe someone else will let us both know.

I just spoke to HMRC and they said I would still be able to submit without being authorised they just can't discuss anything with me.  PHEW!!

Hope that helps.

Just downloaded the software just awaiting activation code.

Thanks again

I have used Andica partnership software for the last two years and rate it.

I haven't used the individual returns software, as I am quite happy with the HMRC software. The only disadvantage is that Andica partnership software updates the Andica individual returns, were as the HMRC software is transfered by hand.

I understand that if you use 3rd party software, for any online submissions you are allowed submission only "status" which means that if there are any queries, HMRC will only speak to your client, they will not speak to you (unless your are an authorised agent for the client)
