I use an agent ID for all my clients but have a separate personal account too. I don't know if this is the done thing, but it works for me.

Good morning all,

As this is my first year trading I havn't yet filled out my SA- (I have registered with HMRC though)

My question is this: I have registered as an agent for SA for clients, but do I use my UserID etc as an agent to fill in my own SA tax return or do I register to do it on line personally? Does this make sense?

Answers gratefully received! I have been pondering this dilemma for a while!

Georgie

Agree with Kris,

Agent ID is just that - Agent ID.

I've a separate Gateway code for my own Tax affairs.

And for an opposite view, all of mine (company CT, PAYE, VAT, my personal) are under the practice account.

One less log in to remember!

Either way will work.
