Marketing - yet again ;) aka having a life rather than a job
Permalink Closed

There are soooooo many threads here about marketing, I wondered if folks would be interested in this fella I came across on LinkedIn.

He has a 12 month programme for if you need 1:1, but it's more the ebook I thought was useful. Lots of nice bullet points that are easy to follow and he specialises in professional services people, rather than being loud and huggy sales type (shudder).

Be interested in what people think.

I hoped it would be helpful. Having spent rather a lot of time reading through the forum back posts, a lot are to do with marketing. Or non-billable hours as they should be called.

Nice jumper, Stuart :)

I've just signed up for a copy. I'll let you know what I think once I've read it.

David is a very nice guy who knows his stuff.

You can learn a lot by looking at what he does as well as reading what his says. So, write your e-book about an emotional hot-point and have a lead capture Website dedicated to it.

Sign up and see what happens in terms of relationship nurturing and follow up.

Well, I've had a look and a lot of it makes sense. I am actually beginning to understand value pricing, to the point I am about to lose my quote system from my website and replace it with some sort of lead capture system, though I need to spend some time deciding on the 'carrot'.

@Kris - welcome to the new world, few go back!

What are your ideal client's three biggest problems? That presupposes you have a very clear definition of your ideal client and that you have asked them.
