Hi Shaun,

Luckily not a major lose but unexpected nether the less. Sometimes the small ones are the easy ones and they all add up at the end of the day.

Not sure if I will advertise or not at the mo, as 2 may not dissapear, and I am in with a few accountants so will talk to them again if need be. Maybe use the time, if I get any free time, to study at least I then can progress my business again later.

I think the recession is still biting some people out there so they are being cautious, can't blame them really.

Many thanks

Hi Everyone,

Well this last month I have found out that I may potentially loose 4 clients!!!

2 I am expecting to loose due to their work and they might well get employed so no need for me.

One I only do the VAT and they no longer anywhere near the VAT threshold and are unlikely to be in the future.

Lastly economic climate!

Am abit shocked they all have come at once!

Has anyone lost any recently??..........

Thanks

I haven't lost any although I've had a couple scale back what I do for them. But it has been more than outweighed by the new businesses I've taken on.

I guess it's an occupational hazxard when you work with lots of new(ish) businesses, some grow but some don't.

Hi Amanda,

sorry to hear about your losses, espechially that they have all come at once. Fingers crossed you will make back at least those plus more next month.

There seem to be a lot of people going self employed at the moment on the back of redundancy payments but it seems that many of them are either going down our path (espechially true of those who have lost office jobs) or thinking that they should save costs by avoiding bringing in professionals too early in the life of the business which is exactly the time that they actually need us!

Hope that you have enough clients that these four were not a major loss to your business,

kindest regards,

Shaun.

I know in my business, every time a recession is announced nothing happens. Then 3 to 4 years later, bam! the tail end hits us.

We are waiting patiently to see what happens this time.

I hope things turn around for you Amanda.

Neil.
