Ltd Company Formations - who to use
Permalink Closed

Just wondered who everybody uses for Ltd Company Formations, i've looked online and there's lots of companies offering this service nowadays.

I found one company that charged just over what Companies House charge you if you go direct to them, how does this work.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Ben

I use Blue Sky Formations. Very efficient, very quick and not pricy. I've set up at least 10 companies using them.

Previously I've used UK PLC. Very efficient and quick, but setup is slightly more difficult and it is more expensive.

Thanks for the links. Is the Blue Sky price right - £ 14.99 + Vat for their lowest package. I'm guessing their banking on clients buying the various add on services they offer, but it does seem like a great price.

How much do you charge your clients to incorporate a simple company, I was thinking that £ 75 would be a fair cost.

It works out at £15.29 for the very basic package. I can't remember where the extra 30p comes from. As for charging clients, I charge £75 to set up a company. One of my clients was charged £350 to set up his company by his previous accountant.

A few from here have used mine http://www.wls1.co.uk/WLS/company-formation.aspx?acc=233920000022427
- starts at £ 23.99 however 2nd level £34.99 includes bound memorandum and Articles of Association & printed certificate of incorporation - if its for a client rather than yourself the manual paperwork can go down well.

One of my clients was charged £225 +vat for a company formation from his accountant. Maybe I should have done that one!
