Anybody on here become AICB after going down the experience route?
Permalink Closed

I've applied to the ICB to join at associate level, the ICB have my two references and I've completed the home paper and am keeping my fingers crossed for good results.

Just wondered how many others have actually managed to get in via this route?

That's how I got started and I'm now a Fellow of the ICB.

I joined ICB via the experience route 3 years ago. I do have 30 plus years of relevant experience in various roles to back it up though

Thanks guys. I was starting to have a panic that ICB made it impossible to join unless you sat all their exams.

Fingers crossed I get in this way.

Well, I've had good news, I've passed the entrance paper! Just hope the panel like my cv and references.

Just to update the thread, I've been accepted as an associate member, so once I pay all the fees and get the insurance, I can use the letters after my name.
