It depends on how many days worked rather than the 4 hours. The entitlement is 5.6 x normal working days in week
So we should all be on 39.2 days holiday a year!
Darn my slave driving boss. No holidays, no sickness entitlement, have to pay for my own training and take home equates to less than minimum wage when compared to the hours worked.
I'm gonna sue...
Oh yes, the boss would be me wouldn't it
Wonder if I should set up a charity. Please give generously, limited company and two BMW's to support. (Now who do I get as a famous front for that... Can't really see Geldoff jumping on that one can you!).

Last permie job that I had was for a famous management consultancy (won't name drop which one) and you had to book the hours that you worked but you were only paid a flat rate regardless.
The idea was that if you were devoted you would keep getting promoted rather than being paid for the hours that you did.
I was with them for three years at the end of which time my time record showed that they owed me approximately 8 months leave!... However, my salary did go up over 300% during that period so I shouldn't complain.... But never being at home did cost me my marraige which sort of took the entire salary increase plus some!
Swings and roundabouts.
