How do you change a registered address?

Hi,

How do you change a registered address on companies house?

I know that some people put their home address down and some put their accountants down.  My friend has put her home address down but now wants it changed to her new accountant, I was helping out and set her up using a company formation company, so is it something I can do easily enough?

Yes, log onto Companies House website and fill in the form to change the registered office address

We do it for clients, all we need is an authentication code (we use our practice log in, then just choose a particular company).

NB make sure your friend is aware that the registered office address has to be displayed on the company letterhead (so there will probably be 2 addresses).
