Help with SA for CIS subcontractor

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone could help me with the self assesment for the subcontractor (CIS registered).

I have all the statements with the Gross payments and TAX @20% deducted.

HMRC sent a paper version to fill in as the person in question sadly passed away this January.

This person was only self employed and did not have a job under PAYE.

To my understanding i use self emplyment pages and in the Business income box Turnover i record his gross takings for the period.

Hovewer where do i record tax deducted at 20% figure?

 

If anyone could advice me on comleting the Sa for CIS subcontractors,or any manuals to read i would apreciate that.

Hi Jonas,

The box numbers differ depending if they've sent you the Self Employment Full or Short supplementary pages.

On the Short supplement it is on page 2 box 37 and on the Full pages box 80 on page 4.
Might be an idea to state the date of death on the 'white space' pages.

Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further difficulty completing forms.
