customer really annoyed me :-(
Permalink Closed

I know the above doesn't sound very good, but it is how I am feeling. I have bent over backwards, answering questions etc, for the customer to say that they are going elsewhere. I said to them this morning I would like them to ask me to do their return with in about a months notice and have everything ready for me, to give me time etc. But since then they have said I am obviously to busy to deal with them, aaarrrggghhh, so annoyed right now!.

I have one client owing me £500, since dec 2011, this is getting to me also, am wondering whether it is worth the grief, but then it is extra income on stop of my full time job.

Sorry for the rant, but it is frustrating doing this sometimes, when you try your best

Many Thanks

Lor

Hi,

Have you given them back their work that they owe you £500 for?

If so what about a letter threatening a CCJ they might then get off their bums and pay you?

I was waiting a while for some money but I have been paid now. Sometimes it does take time.

Have you explained to the client you have just lost that you also have a full-time job, mine you if you were totally self-employed you might be really busy anyway, some clients just think you only have to work for them!

Hi Amanda, they have said before that there will be a cheque, but then say an excuse such as they are going on a last min hols, and this has happened alot now, I will contact them next tues and if it carries on I will have to move to the next level.

But with the above client, it has been difficult as the work was completed in dec, then they were off work having a baby, then the baby was unwell, so I felt sympathetic, and delayed chasing, then she said she has more paperwork, and it's been very dragged on...

I have informed the client that has moved on that I have a Full-Time job also, but then if they want to move on, then there's little I can do.

client has paid now £500, just await the other promised payment, and it should be this week, feeling happier now, wish they would pay on time though!
