Part Time Bookkeeper required 8 hours per week
Permalink Closed

We're a small software business based in Farringdon, central London, looking for a permanent part time bookkeeper for 1 day per week. This can be split as 2 half days but must be based at out office.

Initially we will need an accounting infrastructure set up as previously we have used external accountants for all work and we've grown beyond this now.

There are 2 companies with a combined turnover of around £500k pa.

The role will involve:

  • Monthly payroll of 6 staff
  • VAT returns for the 2 companies
  • Annual returns, working with our external accountants
  • Control of sales and purchase ledgeres including all invoicing and credit control
  • Non EU sales documentation as we do have overseas clinets in Europe and the US
  • Setting up of monthly P&L management accounts for monthluy review meeting with the directors

We're flexible on salary, provided we can find a candidate who is both qualified and willing to view this as a long term position. There is a likelihood that the hours may increase in time as we are growing quickly and doubling in size year on year.
