Has anyone sold software?
Permalink Closed

Only reason I ask is that I have a couple of copies of QB from the Pro Advisor programme and want to sell them but don't know where is best to do it. I know the point of having them is to sell to clients, but my client doesn't want it, hence why he pays me to do his bookkeeping for him.

If no-one here wants them...

Ebay? Assuming that the licences are saleable, but it sounds as if they were sold to you for resale so you should be fine. Stress that they are full legitimate licenced copies with whatever QB support fresh licences come with.

Put them up starting at 99p+postage and be glad for whatever you get. Forget the nominal worth, they are worth what a buyer will pay for them. Sometimes bidding wars can go surprisingly high. (and sometimes you get nothing)

If you have multiple copies put up one at a time, so that you're not competing with yourself!
