If you have deleted the QUEUE.DTA file then this should clear any active users, if it's still not working then may be a data corruption.

 

Have you tried logging in using a different username/password ?

I have the message "username in use" you can cannot enter sage at present on my Sage line 50 accounts package. I have done before and tried the ACCDATA> QUE.DTA fix and its not working this time. any suggestions

Try logging in as manager no password, or the other way round I can never remember.

i have only got one password, i havwe back ups of data if the data is corrupted, can i delete the data drom the accdata file?

Does it ask you for a username and password, or just a password ?

You can retrieve your another password if password is wrong.
