Have a look at this: http://www.choose-your-accountant.co.uk/view-ad/13503/business-accountant/sole-trader/swansea/ I think he's being a tad too open, especially when you're admitting breaking the law in public. Kris

Edited to stop any kind souls putting credits into my account.

When I first read FSB I thought what the heck has the new freindly happy face of the KGB got to do with dodgy sole traders in Swansea? (FSB being the Russian Federal Security Bureau).

Next thing you know we'll have MOSAD doing debt recovery and MI6 opening a new credit reference agency service to challenge Equifax.

p.s. bet our humble little site just showed up on monitors all over the world. lol

lol Kris,

would love to have been a fly on the wall for some of the "Mixed reactions from accountants!".

There is probably a lot that you could do with the client but from the sound of their pitch they are not the sort of client who would listen.

All in all, not worth the risk of taking them on as they are trying to be too clever for their own good without the knowledge base to realise the sort of pickle that they are getting themselves into.

I think that eventually they will probably get the accountant they deserve (Now there's a double edged statement!).... Maybe the one from the other thread that I just answered who apparently allows clients to put Toy gift vouchers through the books.

Mixed Reaction #999

Dear Mr Swansea Sole Trader,

Copy the entire text into a letter to the FSB stating that you're relying on their advice and expect them to defend you in the event of HMRC taking the shirt off your back.

Yours
