Servicestart, has anyone used them

Just wondered if anyone had used Servicestart to chase jobs.  I had a look at it and thought it was a little costly if you buy the clients details and submit your services and then they choose to go with another provider.  I am on their list but have never actually paid to do the pitch because of this reason.  I understand the site needs funding but not sure if it is effective.

Paid for a couple of referral details and they agreed to sign up but then one changed their mind due to cost and other seems like their business is going 2 close.

Good idea but at prices of up to £60 for contacts details is a bit pricey.  If was say £5 per  referral then may be worth spending £25 a month to get 5 leads.

Regards

Mark

I did once pick up on one and there was no charge so I spoke to the client directly and was pleased I had not paid the fee as there was no way I could have worked with them as they had some "strange ideas" as to how they ran thier business.
