Just used this for the first time today - not importing, just doing it directly in the sheet and lookinbg for some shortcuts.
I like VT Trasaction because of the auto complete feature but it doesn't look like it works in this function. Anyone know how to copy the cell above (other than the longwinded 'Ctrl C' 'Crtl V'). In Excel I'd use 'Ctrl @' (or 'Ctrl D' if I wanted to retain formatting). In Sage I'd use F6. Is there any quick way in VT.
To add a day onto the date from the cell above. Again, in VT this can normally be done quickly with just hitting the + key. In Sage 'Shift F6'. Any quick way of doing it in the UIS?
Moving to the next row. In Sage it is automatic. In Excel hitting the enter key (or if in a table the tab key). What about the UIS?

I cant find a way myself but I have only just started to look (Ctrl/Shift/2 doesn't work).
I have imported a complete excel/ VT data sheet by exporting the entire contents from a VT file* and pasted into the UIS. With a bit of firtling around (to find out how it worked), and a small bit of manipulation it worked treat. I can see it being handy to import Sage/ QB csv data into VT with proper transaction dates.
* Had client who managed to create two VT cashbook files, for the same set of account. First three months of the year were posted to one file, the last nine to another, so had to merge them (God bless clients).
