Auditing unofficial school funds - help
Permalink Closed

I've been asked to audit unofficial school funds. I am a fully practicing CIMA accountant however I've not done this before.

After reading up on it I don't think there is anything complicated about it.

Has anyone any advice on cost to charge or anything else I need to be aware of?

You should find out how much (if anything) the previous person charged. Where I live, we nearly always do it free of charge. If we are lucky we get other (paying) work for it, or few free drinks, £25 voucher for the local garden centre.... Its part of our "giving back to the local community" and also get recognition for doing it rather than getting a fee.
