Machine Games Duty

Hi,

I do the bookkeeping for a pub.  Previously the tax for games machine was VAT there is now Machine Games Duty, should i set up a control account for this tax?

I don't think the pub will need to be registered for MGD. (You will want to check this.) If the pub does not need to be registered, then there is little point in having a control account for MGD.

I would keep a control account for MGD just like you would for VAT.
